Christmas Apple and Peanut Butter Sandwiches

Equipment

  • Small Christmas Shaped Cookie Cutters

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple
  • 3 tablespoon Peanut butter

Instructions

  • Place the apple horizontally (so you are cutting through the core) on a chopping board and cut into slices approx 0.5 cm / ¼″ thick. Each apple should yield 6 slices.  
  • Match the apple slices into pairs that are most similar in size.
  • Remove the core from the centre of the apple by using small Christmas shaped cookie cutters. Make sure to use the same shape on the matching apple pair. 
  • Spread 1tbsp of peanut butter on one slice of each matching pair
  • Top with matching apple slice to form a sandwich
