Apple Yogurt

Apple puree/sauce is stirred through plain yogurt to make this delicious, naturally sweetened yogurt.

Equipment

  • Small Saucepan
  • Stick Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple (Peeled, cored and chopped)
  • 1 cup (250ml) Plain Yogurt

Instructions

  • Place the chopped apple into a small saucepan along with 3tbsps of water. Cover and cook on low heat until the apple is very soft (10-20 mins depending on apple variety and size of chunks).
  • Puree until smooth and allow to cool.
  • Add the yogurt and pureed apple to a bowl and mix well.

Notes

  • Chop apples into similar sized pieces for even cooking. 
  • Make a large batch of apple puree and freeze in ice cubes to have available whenever required.
