Equipment

  • Christmas Cookie Cutters

Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 (depending on size of melon Round Slices of Watermelon, 2cm (¾ inch) thick
  • 2 Round Slices of Honeydew Melon, 2cm (¾ inch thick) seeds removed
  • 150g (1 cup) Green Grapes, halved (lengthways)/quartered
  • 150g (1 cup) Strawberries, halved/quartered (depending on size)

Instructions

  • Using small Christmas cookie cutters, cut Christmas shapes from the watermelon and honeydew slices.
  • Add all fruit to a large bowl and gently mix to combine.

Notes

I have deliberately made this a salad with no dressing to serve as a no mess snack. If you would prefer to serve as a dessert you could add a sweet dressing. (Combine a couple tablespoons of fruit juice of choice with a touch of honey/maple syrup and drizzle over)
Use any red / green fruit of choice. See above post for suggestions.
