  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 500 g Passata / Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 2 x 160g (120g drained) tins of tuna in water. (drained)
  • 300 g Dry pasta of choice


  • Heat the oil over a medium/low heat. Add the onions and cook for around five minutes (until turning translucent) Add the garlic and cook for a further minute.
  • Add the passata / tinned tomatoes and the tomato puree. Stir.
  • Add the tuna and stir until combined and the tuna has broken down.
  • Simmer for around 15 - 20 mins.
  • Cook the pasta according to the packaging, drain and add to the tuna tomato sauce.
  • Serve straight away.


Delicious served with a little parmesan and chopped basil.
