Ingredients

  • 1 bag Grapes (or as many as you like!)

Instructions

  • Gently pull the grapes from the stem, removing any soft or decaying grapes.
  • Place the grapes in a colander and rinse with cold water. Gently rub them as you rinse them.
  • Gently pat the grapes dry with a clean dish towel.
  • Store the grapes in a freezable container or ziplock bag and store in the freezer. (If making for young children the grapes should be quartered, lengthways, before freezing.)

Notes

All colours of grape freeze well, pick your favourite! Make sure to use seedless grapes or to remove the seeds before freezing
CHOKING WARNING: Children under the age of four shouldn’t have whole grapes. Cut the grapes lengthways, in quarters, before freezing and allow them to soften slightly before serving. Even older kids sometimes eat too quickly, without chewing their food. (Parents need to make the call on this) Cutting the grapes, lengthways, is the safest option (or bending to make a sorbet).
