We don’t get many sunny days in Scotland so when we do we like to make the most of it and that always involves spending the whole day outdoors and ending it by firing up the BBQ. Our favourite foods on the BBQ include corn on the cob, halloumi cheese, prawns, chicken skewers and steak. Then for dessert BBQ Bananas – we like them stuffed and cooked with dark chocolate chunks or cooked and sprinkled with cinnamon or lemon juice.
Simply throw the required number of bananas on the BBQ and cook until the skins have blackened. If you want to add chocolate then slit the banana length ways and stuff with choc chips / chunks before cooking on the BBQ. Cook until the chocolate is melted and the skins have blackened.
